Best Time for 6 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek

ABC Short Trek is most prevalent during the peak Trekking seasons in Nepal: Spring (March, April, May) and Autumn (September, October, November). These are the Best Times to Trek because the weather and temperature in the Annapurna Base Camp are excellent.

The atmosphere is clean, and the Himalayan views are radiant. The chances of rainfall are significantly less. So, it would be best not to worry about walking over the wet and slippery trails. The surrounding vistas will be at their Best.

Trekking at the Best Time is a beautiful experience. The mild temperature makes it easier and more comfortable. In spring, the daytime temperature varies between 17 and 20 degrees Celsius. Likewise, in Autumn, the daytime temperature ranges between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius.

Nights are colder than the days. But some warm clothes will keep you warm. But there's no need to carry heavy and bulky clothes as in winter. A down jacket, a woolen hat, and warm trousers shall do good.

Difficulties During the Annapurna Base Camp Trek- 6 Days

You will be walking through several areas prone to avalanches and mudslides, which are full of risk. You should walk carefully and at a reasonable speed in these regions.

Food and Health

While you take, you must know what you are eating. The food you take while you trek fuels you, so you'll need more energy. So, you know what to eat and drink, right?

Eat healthy food. Order diets that supply you with total energy to walk. You'll lose more calories and burn your fat. Three good meals a day will fulfill the loss.

Also, it would be best to ensure you don't get sick. Many trekkers say they had an upset stomach while trekking. For that, you should avoid drinking tap water. It might be contaminated. Drink bottled water. Even if you drink tap water, use purifiers and water bottles with filters.

Carry general medicines for colds, diarrhea, allergy, and coughs.

The Long Stone Stairs: Your Knee Hurts

Most of the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking trail comprises stone stairs. The Trekking terrain is mostly steep hills and semi-rocky terrain. The stone steps are long. Throughout the Trek, Ascending the path—reaching a height—and again descending continues.

If you have knee problems, be ready for knee pains. They will be exercising a lot. So, it is better to wear a knee cap if you have knee pains. Also, bring bandages and pain relievers. You might need them as well.

Altitude Sickness: Not A Big Risk, But Still Counts

You'll reach the maximum altitude of 4130 meters at the Annapurna sanctuary. On the Trektrek, you gradually gain a certain height every day. Altitude sickness isn't a significant risk to most trekkers. However, some trekkers feel sick during the Trek.
