Bandipur Village is about 148 km west of Kathmandu on the way to Pokhara. Bandipur Village is on the hillside, from where you can see the stunning mountain range of Annapurna, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal. Rice terraces towards the bottom of the hill are spectacular. Bandipur is an old Newar village. The people of this place are farmers. They grow Rice, Corn, Millet, and seasonal vegetables. Feeding Animals for milk and meat is another aspect of the farmers here. So you can enjoy the tiny animals by playing with them. This is a picnic spot, too, where you can see people enjoying their day off with a picnic and music. We drive from Kathmandu today by tourist bus or private transport. If we go by tourist bus, we leave from Dumre and take another public transport to Bandipur, or if we take our private vehicle from Kathmandu, we all drive to Bandipur. After we arrive in Bandipur, we check in at the hotel and walk around the village. Overnight at the hotel.

We visit the cave and then hike to Bimalnagar through the cedar forest. After about a 2-hour hike here, we drive to Kathmandu/Pokhara, or Chitwan, depending on our next destination.
