Actually, I had heard about the Nepalese Himalayas and decided to trek to the mountain region. I trekked to Mardi Himal but not thinking of doing any day trip in Kathmandu. Rajesh suggested visiting the heritage sites in Kathmandu. I did not know that Kathmandu has so many ancient sites to visit. I can say now, If I had not visited those sites in Kathmandu I would miss lots of things about Nepal to now. My guide Tilak took me to four places (Kathmandu Durbar Square, monkey temple, Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath). During these site visits, he provided lots of ancient history, religious stories, culture, tradition and much more.
