Namobuddha to Panauti Hike is one of Nepal's friendly and easy day tours. Dhulikhel is the administrative center of the Kavreplanchok district. It is 30 km east of the capital city of Kathmandu. Araniko highway passes through Dhulikhel, which connects with the Tibet border Kodari (Tatopani). The people of Dhulikhel are Newar, Brahman, Chhetri, Tamang, and others. For this tour, you will drive to Dhulikhel about an hour early in the morning. Once you reach Dhulikhel, you will see a panoramic mountain view of the Langtang and Jugal Himalayan ranges, a lovely river valley, and farming terraces. Enjoy the beautiful scenery with your breakfast on the resort's balcony, and then you will have a tour of Dhulikhel City. There are some pagoda-style temples and old houses with wood carvings.
After visiting Dhulikhel, you will drive to Namobuddha. This is a Buddhist site. Namobuddha is on the hillside, where nice snowcaps and Panauti/ Banepa Valley can be seen. On the way to Namobuddha, you will pass pine forests and charming local villages. There are Buddhist Monasteries and stupas with colorful praying flags. After Namobuddha, you will hike about an hour and a half downwards to Panauti. Panauti is a religious Hindu site where some Hindu temples and local Newari houses can be seen. Then, you will drive back to Kathmandu from Panauti.
