The Luxury Trip to Everest Base Camp is highly recommended for those who prefer to stay in comfortable lodges with flexible facilities along the walk. If you have limited time and want to do a deluxe base camp trek, you can also return to Kathmandu by helicopter after visiting the base camp.

The Luxury Trekking to the Everest Base Camp begins with a scenic mountain flight to Lukla and treks to the base camp in 8 days and six days to Kathmandu from the base camp. After the flight to Lukla, you walk to Phakding for the first night, then trek to Namche Bazaar the next day. Namche Bazaar is one of the most beautiful towns in the Everest region, so you will spend two days practicing altitude here. Then, you trek to Dibuche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and base camp.

After visiting the base camp and Kala Patthar, you slowly trek back to Thukla, Dibuche, Namche, Phakding, and Lukla, then take a flight back to Kathmandu.

Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, an airport representative from Frolic Adventure will pick us up and take us to our 4-star or suite hotel by private transport. Here, we will meet a company manager and discuss the program.

Today, we have a full-day heritage tour in the Kathmandu Valley. After breakfast at the hotel, we start our trek around 9 a.m. Our tour guide takes us to four UNESCO World Heritage sites with private transport. We visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath, and Bouddhanath, learn about history, culture, religion, and much more with our guide, and then drive back to our hotel.

This is the day our adventure trip begins. We fly to Lukla in the early morning in a small aircraft. After a 30-minute scenic flight, we land at Lukla Airport and hike to Phakding. We pass beautiful Sherpa Settlements like Chheplung, Thadokosi, and Ghat. While trekking to Phakding, we have a great view of white mountains, rivers, forests, and Buddhist monuments.

Today is our long day trek to Namche Bazar. We cross five different suspension bridges over the same river (Dudhkoshi). After crossing two bridges and walking for about three and a half hours, we reach Monjo, where the national park starts. Then we cross another bridge and stop for lunch. After lunch in Jorsalle, we trek for 2-3 more hours, crossing the highest suspension bridge in this region and ascending a hill. Namche Bazaar is the most beautiful town along the way to the Everest Base Camp trek, so we spend this night here.

Acclimatization is key to avoiding altitude sickness, so we're taking an altitude-practice rest day today here in Namche. We hike up to the Everest View Hotel, which takes around 2 hrs. On the way, we pass a high airport (Syangboche) and see the beautiful views of Amadablam, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and many other high mountains from the trail and the Everest View Hotel. After enjoying the view from this viewpoint, we hike back to Namche Bazaar again and stay overnight.

Today, we trek from Namche Bazar to Deboche, which offers great views. The first 2 hrs of the trail are nice and clear, made by an old man who collects donations from visitors. When we cross Kyangjuma, we see the trail to Gokyo Lake, which leads from Sanasa. Then we trek downwards to Phunki Tenga and have Lunch. After Lunch, the trail ascends through rhododendron and pine forests for 2 hrs to Tengboche, then descends for another 30 minutes to Deboche.

After the morning view of Everest, Amadablam, and other mountains, we trek towards Dingboche, passing Pangboche and Somare. From Pangboche, we will be above the tree line, with open views everywhere. Dingboche is the highest proper Sherpa village. From this place, we see Island Peak, one of the most famous trekking peaks among climbers.

This is the second day of altitude practice. We hike up to Nangkar-Tsang Hill after breakfast. While climbing the hill, we see the world's fifth-highest mountain (Makalu). Mt. Makalu is not in the Everest region, but we can see it today after hiking for around 2 hrs towards the hill and overnight at the Dingboche Lodge.

Leaving Dingboche behind, we trek to Thukla through a ridge. We can see Pheriche Valley on our right from the trail, stop for our lunch in Thukla, and go to the Thukla pass afterward. It takes around 45 minutes to reach the top of Thukla. Here, we see many monuments to dead climbers at the top. We still have another hour of trekking on an easy path to Lobuche from here.

Today, we are closer to our goal. We cross a small glacier, keeping the Khumbu Glacier on our right. After three hours of walking, we reach Gorakshep, the last night of our trek. We rest for a couple of hours in our lodge, then hike up to Kala Patthar for the sunset view. From this hill, we see a stunning mountain view, and Everest is very close, as if standing in front of a mirror. Then, we hike back to the lodge in Gorakshep.

After breakfast in the lodge, we ascend to Tengboche Hill and trek to Phunki Tenga. Again, we will climb to Kyangjuma from this place, then trek on an easy, flat part afterward. Today we arrive in Namche Bazaar after struggling at higher elevations for a few days, then enjoy Namche by visiting some bars and bakeries.
