Custom and Policy
Nepal's customs mainly concern the export of drugs, ancient antiques, illegal money, or duplicate notes and ornaments. All your logs will be x-rayed at the airport on arrival and departure. If any antiques look ancient and doubtable, officers can offer you to show the certificate obtained from the authorized place. If you want to take Khukuri (Gurkha knife), you must know where you bought it. Carrying knives, dry batteries, matches or lighter, metal water bottles, and walking poles with you are prohibited on domestic aircraft. You must have to put them in the main loges. Taking stones from the mountain and bringing medicinal herbs and unique plants are not allowed insecurities customs. Photographing the locals is not good if you don't take permission from them, so it's better to ask them before taking pictures of them.
