This journey has a few narrow alleyways, but you do not need prior experience. Tea houses and lodges are well-equipped in this area. They serve local Nepali food as well as Western cuisine. Hotels provide hot showers and Wi-Fi.

You should carry some cash, as ATMs may be unavailable. As you move higher, you will pay more for food and accommodation. The local people are very friendly and will help you in any situation.

You will enjoy the culture, tradition, and lifestyle. The area offers a panoramic view of the Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and more. It is a little adventure in its way.

3 Days Poon Hill Trip Itinerary

You will start the journey from Nayapul and end at Pokhara.

Day 01: Nayapul to Tikhedhunga

Nayapul to Tikhedhunga is the first day of the Poon Hill Trek - th ee days. From Pokhara, you will go to Nayapul. You can reach Nayapul by jeep or by local bus. This journey takes 2 hours.

It is 42 kilometers from Prithivi Chowk to Nayapul. During this drive, you will pass through beautiful Lumle village. This village has several historic temples, and people are friendly here. After a few minutes, you will reach Nayapul.

Your Trekking will start from this place. Today, your destination is Tik Edhunga. You will begin walking uphill. After walking for a few hours, the roads turn into trails. You need to follow Modi Khola.

Following the Modi Khola, you will pass the Rhododendron and cross a small stream. The view of a mountain range, waterfalls, and dense forest will hypnotize you. After half an hour, you will cross the Benti. You will reach Tikhedhunga in no time. You will stay here tonight.

Day 02: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

After having a tasty breakfast, you will continue towards Ghorepani for the second day of the Poon Hill three d ys trek. Today you need more focus and energy. It may be a more challenging trek than yesterday.

You will pass through villages like Ulleri, Banthanti, and Nangge Thanti. Banthanti is Magar village. From this village, you will see a clear picture of Machh puchhre. You will only reach Nangge Thanti after crossing the small river. You should climb to reach Nangge Thanti.

A few minutes later, you will reach Gorepani. Ghorepani was a horse watering place. This village lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area. Enjoy the majestic Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and many. This village has many hotels and guest houses. You will stay here today.

Day 03: Ghorepani to Poon Hill and back to Pokhara

You will reach Poon Hi l today. Enjoy the magnificent view of sunrise from P on Hill. A lot of people are present here to enjoy this moment.

It will take 45 to 50 minutes to reach Poon Hill from G orepani. You will see an unbelievable picture in front of your eyes at the top of P on Hill. The first sight of the Sun on the far horizon is an extraordinary moment for you.

The stunning mountain view and unblocked sunrise are the moments you have been waiting for. Click as many photos as you like. Take a selfie too. You will only stay here for a while. After this, you have to descend towards Nayapul. You will follow the same route as earlier.

You will enjoy these natural beauties for the last time on this journey. From Nayapul, you will take a jeep or bus and return to Pokhara. Now it's time to enjoy the beauty of Pokhara. It is famous for Phewa Lake and Machhapuchhre.

You can also roam around various other places. Pokhara's nightlife is worth experiencing, and it is the tourist hub of Nepal. You can also buy goods for your friends and family.

Ghandruk Village Trek

Dhampus Village trek starts from Phedi. It is a 30-minute ride from Pokhara to Phedi. Annapurna surrounds you in this village. High mountains and greenery invite you. Everything is clear and perfect.

Sarangkot Trek
